Founded in 2013, NOWIE was created to improve the working landscape for women in events and today connects more than 10,000 people through its online community and membership. Built on the principles of women supporting women, NOWIE offers mentoring, networking, and development opportunities that open doors at every stage of a career. Under the leadership of Chair Cat Kevern, NOWIE has grown into a Community Interest Company (CIC) with a programme of projects and events designed to push for greater equity and representation across the industry.
EventMasters is female co-founded, we know first-hand the importance of creating space where women's voices and expertise are heard, valued, represented, and celebrated. This partnership with NOWIE is a natural step in our mission to make festivals and live events a viable and successful career for women at all stages of professional development.
